I've decided that I'm going to drop my last GenEd to replace it with one of the new courses that SDC just added, Programming in C. After reviewing the requirements, this looks like something I can knock out in a day or two given I have more than two decades of experience in professional C and C++ programming.
I'm assuming it will come into TESU as COS-116, but I suppose we shall see.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

Math is one of those subjects (along with Philosophy) where I've started to hawkishly watch for new alt-credit courses that inch us closer to having a test-friendly degree in. We're still a long way off from a fully test-friendly math major, but this is a nice step.

Always love to see a new degree added to the list that can be obtained this way, even if it's not one that I take a personal interest in.

Could you imagine what your ACE transcript would look like if you took every accredited class at SDC? You'd have 567 SH (419 lower level and 148 upper). If you did one class per week, it would take slightly over three years to complete. And could you imagine the poor transcript evaluator that got assigned to handle your transcripts?

Well, Study.com does have a Data Structures course (Computer Science 201) up and coming. It's not creditworthy at the moment... perhaps it isn't complete yet. Given it has a CS 201 designation, my suspicion is that SDC intends to add it to the college accelerator eventually. It might be something worth asking them to see if (or when) it will be submitted for ACE or NCCRS review.

This is all pretty exciting. I may look into CS as a second simultaneous bachelor's instead of just an ASNSM.
