I think I read where study.com World Religion transfers into TESU as a 200 level class instead of the 400 level class that SL does. My question is, would the study.com class still fulfill the Personal and Social Responsibilty for those in the older catalog. I have the Sociology CLEP and the free Ethci course from the institutes, however I need to fill in the last 3 credits and was wondering if the study.com class would work or if I'd have to use the SL World Religion one.

SL's course equivalency at TESU changed a while ago, it's REL-277, the same as Study.com.
The good news is, either one will work for the Info Lit requirement - the UL is not a requirement there, just a course that TESU offers. So I think that if it will work in that area, it should probably work for the area you want, if World Religions is a course that will satisfy that requirement.

It should as I received this email a few weeks agai. However now that I have this study.com scholarship I want to take full advantage of it.
Dear AKS,
We have solved your issue
Good morning,
The following exams can be used to satisfy the personal/social responsibility elective requirement:
DSST General Anthropology
DSST Introduction to World Religions
DSST Ethics in America
DSST Human/Cultural Geography
Should you have additional questions, please create a new ticket by sending an email to
academicadvising@tesc.edu with your degree program in the subject line. Thank you.

Yes, it should work just fine. If the DSST will work, then the Study.com course will work in place of the DSST exam (Same course number).
