Basically, if you'd like to add this as a communication class, I don't think Straighterline, Study.com, or anything else from ACE options gives a similar transferable class. I'd just take it, and if you've got a subscription already, you've got to max your transfers for general education and electives, you can use this for the electives if needed...

Even when their courses have only one touchstone they can still be tedious. This was the case with U.S. History I, it was not difficult just tedious. The only course where the Touchstone was quick and easy was College Readiness. Personally I would rather take 3 more tests then have to do even one touchstone, especially if it is anything but a straight forward paper. There was not a single non-paper assignment that I enjoyed from Sophia courses. In almost all cases I had to just push through them not caring what the grade would be.
CLEP and DSST lets you literally test out of classes, Sophia was allowing you effectively do that but with more work, now it will become more of a grind and I do not believe it will help anyone learn any better.
