Not sure if I posted this in the right category...
I've been having moderate brain fog lately. It's hard to focus on anything, and as one can guess, this hinders my studying abilities. I know part of it is due to fatigue, (can one really get enough sleep these days?) but for those with constant brain fog, what helped you study (aside from just pushing through, which I'll probably do anyway)?

Using Speechify to turn books into audiobooks. It's not perfect by any means, but sometimes it's easier to listen than it is to concentrate on reading.

Yep, there is a browser plugin/extension/whatever for Chrome at least. Maybe also FF? It will read a webpage aloud to you. Very handy. It can choke on some websites that are laid out in a non-standard way, but you can also select the paragraph(s) you want it to read and do them one at a time, if necessary.

Coping with brain fog most effectively might depend, in part, on knowing what is causing it. It can be caused by covid, by chronic pain or even anxiety. Getting plenty of sleep is one good tip as is getting some moderate exercise. Most people will benefit from tightening up their organization skills and routines.

Nice! I'll have to try that out sometime. I usually do better with reading, but it might be time for a change, you know?

I really wish I knew what the root is. I've been working out more, I'm more fatigued than normal, I had COVID a few months ago, and I've found myself being more sad than normal, so who knows? XD
Perhaps I simply require even more sleep.

Brain fog hurts, it's like trying to study with a headache... I would take things little by little and not to rush. Set a schedule and a time stamp on doing X amount of reading and review, pace yourself and not to rush things. I would also invest in a second monitor for courses you will be taking at Sophia.org or another ACE provider, the extra screen really does help with searching and tasks...

I've had several headaches the last few days, but fortunately I can pinpoint that to fatigue.
Thanks for the idea! I'll have to look at another monitor. ?
