Ok I just realized my application is ending next month. To be exact, my college application started on Dec 1st 2014 and will end June 1st 2015.
So I wanted to quickly prep for some TECEP exam and get enrolled without paying the application fee again. I called tesc help line and was told by the representative that by simply paying and registering for the TECEP exam I will be automatically enrolled in the Per Credit Tution plan. Is that correct? Don't I have to pass the exam first?

Yes, you will be automatically enrolled on the 10th day of the term you register for. You may take the TECEP anytime during the given 3 months.
I would call them again to check though... If you were to register for a TECEP now, your term would begin on June 1st. This means your applicant status will be switched to enrolled somewhere around June 10. That'd be past your college application deadline of June 1st, 2015. Might want to check with TESC if that's okay.

You usually get one month grace period so you should be ok but check with them. If they try to tell you to pay an extension fee just decline. It's cheaper to just go inactive and re-enroll again. I just took the History TECEP and the grade posted very quickly (within days)
