So I just took the 1st course for the 101 track, Cybersecurity for Everybody.
There are 6 modules in the course. I got an average of 82% on all the POST-TESTS.
I mostly bombed each Pre-Test.
However, TEEX says I passed the course and issued a certificate.
Once I finish the whole 101 track, when ACE goes to confirm I completed all the courses - do they take the PRE-TEST scores into account when they figure your overall score average? 'Cause is they do, I'm screwed. But if they just go off of the cumulative average for each course's POST-TESTs within the track, then I should be okay.
Can anyone confirm this?

It has been a long time since I have been on my TEEX account, but if I remember there is a place somewhere to find your your total average.
With that being said, I'm pretty sure you're good, the pre-test is just to see where you are.

The pretests don't count- you don't even have to do them.
when each of the courses inside the 101 track are passed, you submit to ACE. ACE just contacts TEEX to confirm that you've completed the entire 101 class and you'll get 2 credits.

Like Cook said, you don't need to do the pre-test. I cut a significant amount of time out of the latter half of the TEEX modules when I realized I could skip them.

Sorry for bringing back this old thread, but how long does it take to complete these courses? What is the best method to get through them all?

What's the easiest method to go through the FREE credits quickly? It's not proctored!
It's an open book exam. So, open multiple browsers/tabs (or a second monitor) and go through them.
Especially when you have the NFA, TEEX courses, you can have the answers at your fingertips.
Have the questions on one screen/window and have the course materials open on another tab/window.

Plus the questions recycle, so if you are having a hard time, you can save the questions you got right and refer back - plus that helps you use process of elimination with the ones you got wrong.
Also, if you absolutely can't get past a quiz and it locks you out, just call them, they'll unlock it for you. That happened to my 8th grader twice- no problems.

Thank you for the info, but i'm running into an issue skipping over the pretest, it willn't allow me to skip the pretest without completing it in order to complete the post test. Please help

That's not an issue, it will only take you just a minute or so to click A, B, C, D for all 15-30 questions.
Then, just have another browser/window (on another monitor if you extended the desktop) open with the course material.
You will need to go through the entire course material by clicking next to every page/picture/menu.
Once done, you can do the post test, I will reopen the course material to have it ready for searching those answers.
