TESC BA English

Anyone know where I can get upper level English credits cheap? I guess I need 18 of them for this degree, right?

If anyone knows of a cheaper BA English degree than TESC plz let me know. I have general ed credits done I can transfer.

I'm also curious if anyone has got a second degree from TESC? If I got another degree first, like maybe one in business administration could I use some of those credits to get the BA in English? I read in the catalog you have to do 30 new credits but I didn't really understand the part that said this:

course work used to fulfill requirements for a previous associate degree major or any other undergraduate, advanced or professional degree may not be used to fulfill requirement for a second associate degree option or a second bachelor's degree area of study.

Does that mean just area of concentration credits or all credits even general ed?

I would interpret that excerpt to refer to courses taken only for the major/concentration/area of study, in part because otherwise you would need a whole lot more than 24-30 new credits (I think TESC's policy is now for 24 rather than 30 new credits).

You can find inexpensive UL English credit-by-exam at Ohio University (warning: these look far tougher than CLEP exams) and UL English courses at BYU, LSU and U Colorado Pueblo Independent Study. For the non-Western literature requirement, look at Western Washington University.

Distance Learning, English Courses, Extended Studies, Adams State College

It looks like $450 for the class, not per credit, which is pretty cheap. I don't know how they transfer to TESC, though. Anyone know?
