Hello! I was searching the net and came across a site that offers FREE online study guides. Does anyone know anything about this site?
FreeEd.net
I looked at a few. There's tons of subjects, but not very much for each subject.
HTH!
Thank you ALL for all the WONDERFUL information! Working SMARTER, NOT harder.

These are not free courses per say, this is just a website that is cataloging some of the free subject resources available on the WWW. It will link you back to various other free resources most of which are probably mentioned in the specific exam feedback area, if they are worthwhile. It can't hurt to browse the subject you are studying, but I did a quick search for some subjects I studied and found all their resources were things listed here in the forum discussions or specific exam feedback such as Annenberg videos and Khan videos, as well as podcasts. I just didn't want you to think it was full courses being offered, just study resources. I would recommend that you check out the specific exam feedback here for any subject exam prior to taking it or embarking on your studying as it really is a fantastic resource. Good luck!

If you click on a subject, you will find an outline of everything that would be included in a text book and a glossary. For ECEs I prefer to make my own notes, but I think that I could pass any CLEP by spending just a couple of hours looking through the related outlines.
It's too quick to tell how useful it will be for me, but I'm already really liking what I see.

Sorry, I put study guides in the heading, but had put online courses in the body. Changed it.

Boy, wouldn't that be nice? The biology flashcards in particular. Its such a large and unwieldy set that studying with them is pretty rough. Oh well, it will probably happen sooner or later!
