Someone blasted me once for saying it, but they need to hire more staff. I had to wait a zillion weeks too. As far in advance as they make you file, you would think they could get an answer out to you. Pretty soon you'll have to file for graduation on your admissions application.hilarious

I called yesterday just to try and push a little with no luck. She said I may not hear until the week of Graduation. This is tough. Especially if they come and tell me I'm missing something. Even though my eval looks good I'll be nervous until I get that piece of paper! :mad:

They really do need to hire more staff. I'm just a bit worried that because I sent in my paperwork to switch to the Enrolled Option plan from the Military Degree Completion Program along with my Request for Graduation they'll screw it up somehow.

I called a few weeks ago and the Registrar said my file was pulled for graduation and everything looked good, but still...

And regarding the week of graduation, when exactly is that? All I know is it's in December.

My degree was certified on October 24th, and will be conferred December 5th, according to the official letter I recieved. The diploma will be mailed within 10 business days of conferral, along with transcript. It took me several phone calls to verify that my application was recived, and all my grades made it in on time(My last DSST was taken 9/19, and I was on a month's paid extention-just days away from another months payment being due. I was nervous that it would not get there in time for December graduation). It worked!! BTW, an advisor actually told me that technically, one could apply for graduation at any time and need not be finished with requirements. Dosen't make much sense to me, but I followed her advice and applied while I was still 12 credits away from my requirements being met. They just held my app. and pulled it when I was done.

How do you apply for graduation? I have 2 classes left and Im done, so Im thinking I should apply now.

If you go to the area for current students you will see the application under forms. You won't make the December date, but probably the next one. The form tells you what the deadlines are.

In other new, my academic eval dissapeared this morning which I know someone mentioned was a good sign.
