TESC HELP unoffiical eval.
#1
Hi all I just graduated with my bachelors from a brick and mortar my degree is in Behavorial Science but I really want to teach secondary education. Most of the programs require that you have majored in math, social science, english or foreign language. I'm not sure if it would just be easier to get a secondary degree in english from Thomas Edision I really want to take the fastest route so I can start teaching which will be in Delaware. Does anybody have any advice or what I would have to take to get my B.A at TESC? Here's my transcript any info would be great.

TESC requires 24 new credits for a second degree. So first you need to get an evaluation from TESC to make sure they accept all your previous credits. I haven't been through this so I'm just telling you what I have heard others say. Maybe someone who has done this will chime in.

Looks like you would need 33 additional credits in English. You can knock out 15 of them via the A&I Literature CLEP, British or American Literature CLEP and the Technical Writing DSST. Then you can take six 300/400 level courses from schools like Adams State College, LSU, BYU, Sam Houston State or Western Washington University, and if you want a credit-by-exam option, look at Ohio University.
