I complain about TESC but in the end they do right by you. They just need some encouragement and you need some patience.
I love the online degree evaluator and it is easy to email your advisor and ask for an item to be put on your plan. Keep in mind it is only a plan and things do change if a course doesn't fit into the spot you want.
For example, I thought that Network+ certification should be a CIS elective. I had my advisor put it on my plan like that but the registrar threw it into biz electives. The registrar has the final say so just ignore most of what your advisor tells you and you will be fine.
