Feel as if I'm so close, but so far away. I see what you are saying about the Comm 300, that was a Business Communication Class I took at B&M school and I thought that requirement was for an oral speaking class, but you're saying an Applied Math would fit here? I dread taking English Comp II and it might be one of the last things I take. For now I will continue to focus on the Sociology CLEP and the Business Ethics DSST, that will hopefully knock out 6 more GE classes that I need. Since I failed the American Government Clep, I will either wait 6 months to re-take it or take it through a Community College this winter break session somewhere, hopefully for cheap.

It wasn't that you needed another math, you just need that UL Business Communications course to move down to the specialization area, so you need something to replace it in IPS. Find something else on the list that you want to take to get that requirement met: Thomas Edison State College | General Education Courses - 2015 or Before

There's a free Ethics course that people have been taking lately, it's only 2 cr so we're not sure if TESC will accept it as the Ethics requirement and waive it like they did with your Business Law course, but we are all hoping this is the case. Then, you would have another requirement met, and need an additional business elective (11cr). Think about taking that, it only takes maybe 1/2 and hour to test out of it.

Thanks for that information. I was just reading the post on it, but wanting to hear what someone said that had sent it in. Also, I looked at the GE classes you linked. I'm still confused as I thought *Business/Managerial Communications, 3SH was required. If I replace it with Math or something else, then what fills the *Business/Managerial Communications, 3SH that I need. Not questioning, just curious. However, I have a long way to go, but feel on the right path.

I now see that only English I and II are required in this area. So anything else from that list fits the IPS area, correct?

You are right, I messed that one up. Business Communications is required up top in IPS. But, in looking at my own degree plan, I have a different course in there (Manager as Communicator) that they put in as ENG-216. So I was looking at the wrong thing. BUT, you can take the Managerial Communications TECEP (MAN-373) to go in the specialization. Although why they consider "The Manger as Communicator" taken at a 4-yr university as ENG-216, but their own Managerial Communications as MAN-373 is beyond me!

Sorry again!
