6 credits missing to for BALS degree
#1
I just finished the Sophia class Essentials of conflict management.

I am taking HIS 101 and 102 right now for western CIV.

On my evaluation I have noticed allot of classes are no longer being used in my degree.

I have a gap of 6 credits in the Liberal Studies-Social Sciences (18SH) however if I add 1 credit to General electives with the Sophia class maybe I can only need to find 3 credits. Does this make sense, and can any of the excluded courses be used?

General Education Electives 19 SH (Pending completion of unfinished activity)
!! Exception 2.67sh over in gen ed areas Take 21.67sh
SH Earned: 22.34

I have included an excel spreadsheet with the classes in question. If someone could look this over and let me know if I'm missing something that can help me fulfill the 6 credits for the BALS Liberal Studies-Social Sciences (18SH)

TES-100 1 SH (Waived) but I have a 1cr credit gap. I have taken both free sophia courses for 2 cr and will send the transcript over to TESU for eval.

Some of these courses should have been able to be used however they moved things around when I was overseas

None of the courses you listed can be used in the AOS.

However, the Psychology course you got a D in will certainly work in GE Electives. And the 2 history courses you are taking can be moved to the AOS.

Can the sophia courses be used in general electives and allow me to move them to AOS?

Since I already have GEOG101 in group 2 I may only be able to bring in 1 history class. It's looking like I need to test out of something at 200/300 level rather quickly.

Sorry, I didn't notice the Geography course, I was looking at the first 3.

The Sophia Conflict course will go into GE's, but it won't help you in the AOS because it's only 1cr - unless you have a 3cr or 5cr course already there.

If you need an UL SS course, I suggest the Substance Abuse DSST, or else Study.com has a few:
SOC 305: Sociology of Work
CJ 305: The Juvenile Justice System
HIS 306: The American Civil War Era
HIS 308: Causes & Effects of the Vietnam War
HIS 311: The Holocaust and WWII
PSY 301: Industrial/Organizational Psychology
PSY 310: Psychology of Personality
PSY 312: History & Systems of Psychology

If you need an UL and LL course, the Vietnam courses will be your best bet - they are both short, and there is a lot of overlap. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I'd do the UL course first.
