I received a list of Study.com courses that would transfer in as UL credit from one of the Academic Advisors last week:


History 306: The American Civil War Era

History 311: The Holocaust & World War II

Psychology 301: Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Psychology 312: History and Systems of Psychology

Criminal Justice 305: The Juvenile Justice System

Sociology 305: Sociology of Work


Computer Science 302: Systems Analysis & Design

Computer Science 303: Database Management

There are two other ones that are considered UL that was listed on my recent Academic Evaluation, but I forgot which ones those were. I'll list them here once I'm able to log into my account, for some reason I can't log in.

Just look under the subject you're interested in, and any courses that come in as 300-400 level courses on the right side of the page (Thomas Edison course codes) will be upper-level credit. Though not all will be useful to every degree of course.

There are also a few UL courses that aren't listed on the transfer list since they're not part of the agreement between Study.com and TESU yet. But they can still earn UL credit. For any that don't appear check the ACE (and NCCRS) websites. If a course is listed as UL with ACE (or NCCRS), then it should come in as UL at TESU as well.

I originally chose my UL classes from the Study.com site for the TESU equivalencies by searching for those that are of the 300 - 400 level, but had those turned down as UL. I was told that certain classes listed there are no longer being accepted as UL at TESU, I don't know when they plan to update that list, but I hope they do it soon.

Your right about looking up the course level on the ACE site, that would probably be better since they'd more than likely stick close to the ACE recommendations.
