Looking for Biomedical Electronics Electives (TESU BS Program Help!)
#1
Hey everyone,
I'm currently working on my BS in Biomedical Electronics through Thomas Edison State University (TESU), and I'm running into a bit of a challenge with some of the required courses.
TESU's program is "transfer-oriented," meaning they don't actually offer the core Biomedical Electronics courses themselves. We're expected to find these courses at other colleges or universities and then transfer them in for approval.
Specifically, I need to find four (4) Biomedical Electronics Electives. These are specialized courses, and I'm finding it tough to pinpoint where I can take them online or via distance learning that would then transfer back to TESU.
Has anyone here completed a similar program or found good sources for these types of specialized Biomedical Electronics courses? Any recommendations for specific institutions, online course providers, or even course titles that might fit the bill would be incredibly helpful!
I appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thanks in advance!

I do have a question for you. Do you have any biomedical engineering experience? I ask because I only know of one person who completed this degree. He was one of my sailors, and because his job gave him experience, I showed him how to do a portfolio for some of his missing classes.

Illinois offers online courses, many of which are open to nondegree students. Three credits is about $1500. https://online.illinois.edu/online-cours...?take=1000

It's best to provide more details requested on the addendum and template, with extra info, you may get different options or recommendations, such as completing the PLA for those 4 electives instead of transferring in the classes elsewhere. It really depends on what you bring to the table and how you've entered that detail within your portfolio... https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
