TESU TECEP SCHOLARSHIP QUESTION

Hi it's me again! I got an email saying I can potentially receive two free TECEP exams.

Scholarship Terms:
This scholarship was made possible by the Thomas Edison State University Foundation’s Institutional Innovation Grant and is dependent on available funds for the September 2025 term, which begins Monday, Sept. 1, 2025. Registration for the September term is open. First come, first served!

Please note: this scholarship can only be used for the tuition cost of up to two (2) general education TECEP exams in this term and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Financial responsibility for any other courses registered outside of TECEP exams will be the financial responsibility of the student.


My question is can I use this scholarship to enroll into the medical terminology TECEP? I was going to sign up for it either way by paying so I could get unlimited transcript reviews. If I were to enroll in it with this scholarship would I only have the TECEP exam available for the month of September? That's the part I'm confused about.

The September term is 3 months (September to November), so you should be able to take it within that timeframe. However, they may not allow the Medical Terminology exam, as it needs to be a general education one like Math or Public Speaking, or another such example.

To answer your question, you can take any two TECEPs, having said that, you want to take the easy ones that go towards the degree requirements.
