Yes, July 1 is no longer the magic date at TESU! Starting this year, they are moving the catalog date to April 1. So if anyone wants to enroll and lock in the 2015/16 catalog, NOW is your chance. After that, you're subject to the new catalog requirements, with TECEP's/PLA's not meeting residency requirements.

Is there information from the TESU website about this? Or is this from a ticket or a phone call with someone at TESU that is unlikely to be misinformed?

I have called and emailed, and with multiple people. They changed the date to April 1, and are all scrambling over there because of the moving up of the date, and the changes going into effect. They don't even have the Cornerstone course ready yet. They are still working on it, and it "should" be ready by May 25. But a couple of people I first talked to hadn't even heard of the Cornerstone course yet, so Advising and Enrollment are a little lost at this point (not that there aren't lost people on a regular basis working in advising).
But TrailRunr, please don't take my word for it, feel free to call and email yourself. If you think that every single person on here is wrong all the time, why do you even bother reading the posts??

I do believe you 100%. But like you say, some of the folks over at TESU are less informed and more lost than others. I'm just trying to gauge how reliable the people on the other end are. Or maybe you heard from the Dean with your super connections at TESU.

I enrolled in the Per Credit Tution plan last year somewhere around June and sure it's going to expire in the coming months. If I re-enroll myself does that mean I stay under the old TECEP plan ?

If you quickly call and email TESU, you should be enrolled in the current catalog before April 1. You should have an email confirmation for reference and tracking, just so you have proof later if they require evidence you were given enrolment.
But from the look of things, TECEPS won't be used for residency requirements, call to confirm and have them email you the details if any.

If you haven't taken a TECEP/course from TESU since you enrolled last June, your enrollment probably expired (you have 6 months to do an initial TECEP/course). If you have taken something already, then you're enrolled for a year from that date. If you are no longer enrolled, then you have to reapply.
The last I heard, everyone is basically going to have to fight to be grandfathered into the TECEP-for-residency plan, so I imagine that new students will not get this. But who knows what they'll end up doing?

Who knows they might even get a sweet deal out of this, like they are grandfathered in for TECEP counting but still only need 16 residency credits.. Doubt that will happen but that would be sweet

Haha! That's mighty optimistic! But they seem very confused over there right now, so who knows?! That would certainly be nice for me, because I have 15cr already, and I only have 4 courses (3 of which are TECEP's left), and I could take my courses through another means and not worry about the TECEP's at all. But I will NOT be counting on that to be the case.

Good morning, I just spoke to several reps at tesu, and I am so confused, everyone keeps saying I don't need to be re-enrolled since I enrolled in july 1st, I'm good up to july 1st, and don't need to re-enroll as an active student until then. PLEASE HELP! because the right hand, doesn't know what the left hand is doing over there.
