TESU online course written assignments

Quick question about the TESU online courses...

Most of them seem to have six or so writing assignments "on a variety of topics associated with the course modules." How intensive are these assignments? What's the average page length?

I'm a decent writer, I think, but I'm also lazy :o

Often you are answering end of chapter questions, typically a paragraph or two. Most of mine came out to be 2-4 pages. In math classes and the like, you are doing problems, and I have to say that typing in equations takes much longer than doing it in pencil.

I start my first (of two) normal TESU online course on Monday!

I had two quick questions, wasn't sure where a better place to post this would be, so I'll piggy back on my own thread.

This is not the "guided study" course, it's the normal online course... but am I able to work ahead anyway? My course has 6 writing assignments, one due every other week. Do I actually have to wait for due dates, or can I turn them in a few weeks early? Same with discussion questions to the forum?

Similarly, if I finish up a few weeks early, can I schedule and take the final exam whenever I feel ready and not have to wait until the final week?

No problem turning in assignments ahead, although they may not get graded until after their due dates. You generally can't take midterms or finals early. It will depend on the class and the mentor. I would reach out to the mentor if you plan to finish that quickly and see if they will work with you.

Thanks for your help. I'll see how it goes and if I'm moving through it quickly I'll talk to the mentor about testing out early.
