you guys are nuts!

i'm on my fourth psychology related clep coming up and I STILL take my time even though i'm sure of the answer i'll read each answer. I did intro to psych in about an hour is my fastest. The rest: sociology and hgd took all of about 90 mins.

I've used the below method and found it fast, easy, and effective. I passed all my exams (usually with an "a" if graded), and my son and wife used it for similar results.
- Divide the total time by the number of questions. Do not take longer than this on any question. If you hit the time limit move on.
- First pass: Answer anything you know the answer to.
- Second pass: go after the questions that you think are right or that you can eliminate options.
- Third pass (you may be running out of time): make sure you answer any remaining questions. Guess on exams that don't penalize incorrect answers. In those cases you should never have an unanswered question!
- Use the time remaining to review your answers and check your work.
