Test center question

Hello all, I seem to have run in to predicament that hopefully you guys might be able to help me with, I recently had to move and found a location that offers clep testing but there is a problem they don't offer DSST and the closest center is back in my home town which is 225 miles away is there anyway around this situation? I have 7 DSST tests left so the location is very lacking and would really rather not have to drive 450 miles at a time to take a 90minute-2hour test

You might be able to take courses another way: study.com has some exact matches for some DSST exams. SL has courses that might fit, same with Saylor. If I were you, I would change my degree plan to not include any additional DSST's.

Where are you? Which city I should ask? I second the recommendation on changing your DSST to something else, unless you have paid for it and can't make it. There maybe something they can do for you if you call and ask. Are there no test sites an hour or so from you? I would search their site.

I live 1.5 hours away from a CLEP/DSST test site, so I removed them from my list. I would rather pay a bit more for easier access to proctored testing online. Hope that helps...

if you can't or don't want to change them out for another credit option, you could double up and take 2 tests in one trip.

That thought has crossed my mind, take my weekends and just take two tests at a time to completion

I can't seem to open that link on this iPad, weird. I can open all Excel spreadsheets and PDFs files just fine on here.
Could you save it as PDFs or an excel spreadsheet? I haven't tried documents yet though. Hmmm

One final thought, look at the DSST website, it looks like you could contact a local testing center (eg. CLEP / community college) and ask if they'd consider being a DSST center. Looks pretty easy to make that happen.Test Centers | DSST | Get College Credit
