Options to test out computer science/IT credits ?
#1
Hi all,

I have a friend who's been in IT for the last 5 years but he never got around getting any formal college degrees.

I'm wondering what are the options to test out for IT/Comp Sci credits ?

I was hoping to direct him to get a West Virginia's BOG AAS with a focus in IT or Comp Sci.

It depends on what he wants to do.

TESU has a BSBA in CIS, and you only need 6 IT/CompSci courses that can all be tested out of (or done online) for fairly cheap.

WGU has several IT degrees, and you can bring in all of your Gen Ed's via testing, and then along with doing the IT courses, they include a bunch of Certs as well.

There are a lot of options for the IT courses via testing out, too many to list.
