Not only does TESU not take things like edX courses, they also only take AP exams based on the ACE recommendations. So, for instance, the English Language AP exam had it's ACE recommendation expire 12/31/17. TESU will NOT take the exam, even if you score a 5, if you took it after 12/31/17! They are one of the only colleges in the country that won't take AP on it's own merit. It MUST be ACE-recommended to get credit (yes there are a few prestigious schools that won't take AP, but they are few and far between).
For whatever reason, TESU has decided that ACE/NCCRS is the only way they'll take things - not sure why, but they rely heavily on those 2 resources. It's also why they won't take most IT certs even if they apply directly to to a degree requirement.
