I will be taking this test in a few days. I have studied everything from 'Specific Feedback' section, IC flashcards, and a textbook. The thing that is making me a little nervous is that there are no Peterson practice tests for this dsst and there are no practice tests from Prometric either. I really like taking the practice tests to help me see how well I am retaining the info. Has anyone taken this test recently?? How tricky are the questions? I know you need to know concepts but are the questions really exhausting to read through and figure out? Also, do DSST tests have 5 answers to choose from like clep or 4 like ECE. Any tips, info, and encouragement would be appreciated!!

It's been a while since I took this one and I don't have the best memory, so I can't tell you much. But I made a 64 using only InstantCert and Specific Exam Feedback. Oh wait, I said all this there so you probably already know this. :p Anyway if you haven't already, I would encourage you to look at the study sheet I posted there. It helped me alot.

thanks rmroberts, would you say that the scenario questions are worded really tricky and exhausting to read through-- some of the cleps are like that. this is my first dsst-- are there 5 multiple choice answers they give you or 4 choices like ece's. thanks for your help!

Oh yeah, I meant to tell you there were four options and I forgot. I wish I could tell you more, but I really can't remember. It doesn't stick out in my mind as being particularly tricky if that's any consolation.

If you paid to subscribe to IC, then you can see the Specific Exam Feedback on the main page of this forum. I thought the exam was easy, but I had already taken a few psychology tests and courses before it. I only used IC and I think a study guide that was posted in the feedback section not only listing terms and names to know, but the definitions and biographies behind those terms and names.
