@ss20ts, not 1 session my friend- MAOL completed in 2 sessions- The writing is intense, but as a CEO, I have a wealth of writing content-  3 of my BABA courses transferred into MAOL, which reduced the time and amount of class

It says you graduated in December so I thought you finished your bachelor's degree in December. That would have left 1 session to complete the MAOL. Based on other students experience with the MAOL I'm truly shocked that someone finished it in 2 sessions. One person had to write over 200 pages for 1 class. They too transferred in 3 courses from their BABA.

You thought wrong, conferred date vs finish date vs graduate dates are different- You are mixing up the December conferred date as my finish date.

A degree can completed and conferred in the same month. I know this from experience! My first degree was conferred in the same month as I completed it.

I will repeat, MAOL was completed in 2 sessions, not one session as you assumed. Ist session of MAOL was in October, right after my last BABA course ended.

Basically you did all the hard work, we just pointed you in the direction you wanted to go into, and showed you what options were available.

You should pat yourself on the back, you persisted and your perseverance in completing the degree got you to that educational goal!

And good luck on the remainder of your UMPI MAOL, you're already half way completed, wow!  You'll get there in no time!

Thank you- Wish me luck,  submitted application  "DBA program" next Liberty University starting May.

Per Jessica at UMPI, degree confers 2- 4wks after all courses are completed.

There seems to be some miscommunication here. The initial post with the dates didn't make it clear that you started the MAOL in the Fall 2 session. I was simply saying - as stated above - that a degree can be completed and conferred in the same month. I completed my first bachelor's degree in March and it was conferred in March. I also received my diploma in March. I'm not sure why you posted what Jessica said when I already said a degree can be completed and conferred in the same month which can fall into that 2-4 weeks. Like I said I have experience with this as that's how my my timeline was.

Also I understood you the first time you said you completed the MAOL in 2 sessions. not sure why you felt the need to repeat yourself when I didn't say anything about the sessions. but whatever. Go enjoy your MAOL.

Did you keep track of how many words or pages you had to do in total for the MAOL?

Or around how many hours per week were you working on the degree?

I think you would be only the 2nd person on this forum to have an MAOL from UMPI.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Your question: Did you keep track of how many words or pages you had to do for the MAOL?

My response: Not initially,
There are 12 Milestones, each requiring a 5-10pg response to include:
Milestone title page, introduction, argument, conclusion/takeaway, and Reference page.
Most of the final papers are 28-30 papers, 20–25-page slides, voice-over presentations-
It wasn’t until after the first course that I discovered all milestone responses prepared you with the framework for your final paper, and each milestone response is allowed to be reused for the final. My capstone was mainly unpublished materials from a 500page business plan I wrote for SBA in 2011.

Your question: How many hours per week were you working on the degree?

My response: In retrospect, I was working on my MAOL every day, every chance I got during the day, and consistently at nights between 9 pm- 1 am, sometimes 4 am if I have a deadline to submit the final.

Your question: I think you would be only the 2nd person on this forum to have an MAOL from UMPI.

My response: Yes! That first person who finished his MAOL was my inspiration; he supported me along the way.
