Maximum Credits for UMPI No maximum on transfers. However, you can only do up to 30 PLA. Sophia, Study.com, etc and other ACE credits count as a full weight college class transfer.

Capstone There are no capstones.

Proctors there are no proctors. Most classes end with a project or an essay instead.

TOTAL CREDITS You must do 30 credits AT UMPI in order to graduate. But there's no rule against transferring 110 credits, doing 15 for one major and aonther 15 for another major and walk away with 2 degrees.

That's great you can earn fast a bachelor degree and you can use the 24 credits that TESU require in 3 month session, is fast to finished 30 credits, I already do in one month 30 credit through sophia, it was hard but here I have here 3 months challenge and split 30 credits in 10 credit each month with no proctoring  Smile

Is it free to apply?

Do they hold the evaluation if after a while after transferring credits one doesn't enroll?

Any fees after transferring credits?

The application is free. You must send them a High School Transcript & Any college transcripts. They will give you a full & free audit. You have to tell them if you want to enroll or not enroll before they start charging you.

Their advisors are super responsive and amazing. They only let you take 2 classes at one time, but, you can request more at any time as you finish it.

Did you pay the first session already ?? If in liberal studies I can use any free elective computer course I will take all the ones I need in case I continue with TESU, but if they finally start the CS degree is not worthed to continue with TESU they are making things every time more complicated.

Nope I didn't pay for my first session, yet. My stafford loan is covering 60% of my first semester so I need to come up with the 40%. They offer a 5 month payment plan so like $150 / month cheaper then study.com to be a full time student... not too shabby.

That's great that they're going to offer CS! It doesn't look like it'll be YourPace (at least for a while) but hopefully they add it as an available competency-based degree in the near future.

They don't really have a maximum number of credits they transfer. You must complete a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI. You will also be required to complete a specific number of UL courses in and out the major/minor.

The BLS degrees do not have a capstone.

I've completed this minor and will graduate in March. Feel free to send me a pm with any questions you have about UMPI.

Actually all of this isn't true.

You can have more than 30 ACE credits. PLA is something else entirely.

Some degrees DO have a capstone. The BLS does not.

Most courses have a paper or project for the Final Assessment. There are a few with exams. The paper is not an essay.

Walking away with 2 degrees is NOT possible with the BLS. It is a terminal degree and you cannot complete it with another degree. I know because I specifically asked about this.

The application is free. There is no fee for transferring credits. You'd have to ask admissions how long they will defer your acceptance.

This courses are for the on campus students not YourPace which is the CBE program. These courses are NOT available in the online degrees. Nor are the computer science courses. The computer science program is launching in January on campus not online.
