The debate is very active in an accredited diploma mill like this one, where AI is effectively the only tool used, as reported by the experiences shared right here on this forum. The response provided by students and owners alike is that AI is an excellent tool now used in all universities.

It's a pity, however, that this isn't true at all: the automated generation of content via AI, passed off as student-produced work, is severely penalized in any serious university.

If you had spent any time at all talking to actual university professors, you'd know that serious consequences for LLM abuse are far too rare throughout academia. Your vendetta is leading you to frame this as a problem unique to the University of the People, but that's simply not true.

You don't address Steve's point though. The challenge posed by LLMs is not unique to UoPeople. It's an issue happening at most universities. The issue has been discussed widely in higher ed publications and even the mainstream media.

The problem is that you're presenting it like it's unique to UoPeople. It's not. You're distorting the truth because you have a vendetta.
