Good news for those who dislike math?
#1
I just spent a little while updating https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents with information from the UMPI transfer database. It appears that all math currently available from Sophia will work for requirements 3A & 3B, even though they might not have done so previously. I still strongly recommend at least attempting College Algebra if possible, but you may still be able to get at least a BLS from UMPI even with "just" Intro to College Math.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

This did not work previously. Maybe something has changed? This also does not apply to the BABA's as Math for Business is the required math course.

I don't know what changed, but it does appear that something did. The transfer database definitely lists everything at Sophia (except Calculus, nobody's transferred it in yet) as working for the GEC math requirement.

Something to keep in mind is that this may have been a 1 time thing. I have seen UMPI reevaluate ACE courses quite often. It also may not apply to all degrees. The BABA requires Math for Business. Someone may also have transferred on campus with a Sophia course so it could be for a degree not in YourPace.

Yeah I think its a one time thing because I'm doing the BABA PM and I have to do Math for Business even though I also transferred in College Algebra and Foundations of Statistics (Both of those satisfy the math requirement according to my transfer credit evaluation)
CLEP - 7 Courses, Study.com - 11 Courses, Sophia - 15 Courses, CSM Learn, INSTANTCERT - Spanish I, Coursera - Google Data Analytics Certificate.

UMPI Double major BA Accounting, BABA Project Management. DONE 2023!

The BABA has always required Math for Business for the Math GECs. On campus, UMPI has many more degrees than what's in YourPace so these math courses could apply to some of those programs.
