Why don't you just enroll in an RA competency based program majoring in english?

UMPI has an English competency based degree program. You can also try the Harvard Extension Poetry In America series, they were $250 each, now they're $1000, but you'll get Harvard under your belt! And these can be graduate credits...

There's really no way to know unless you apply. Keep in mind that you still need to complete a specific number of credits including upper level credits in your degree program and major at every college. 

UMPI has a BA in English and they require a specific number of UL credits to be taken at UMPI including a certain number in the major. I'm not in that degree program so I don't know what the specs are for that degree. I'm in the BLS degree. UMPI is a competency based program. You can apply and find out what they say. The application is free.

I found UMPI has only two upper-level English courses. I may ask them if they have more.

The UMPI English degree also includes communications which has additional uppers. If you attend UMPI, they offer all of the courses needed to complete their degree. No need to take courses elsewhere.

I'd check with the school you're planning on going to, I'm guessing some of these won't be considered UL (Am Lit), or might not be considered ENG/LIT (WRTG313).

A syllabus is good to get - something showing why the course should be brought in as you want (UL) is a good start.

First, it depends on which school you want to go to as to how they will bring in credit.

Study.com has 2 UL English courses (ENG 301: Non-Western Literature & ENGL 305: Advanced Technical Writing).
Coopersmith has 1 UL English course (LIT-401: Medieval Hispano-Jewish Poetry)
