The Utah Science Teachers Association offers courses for subject area certification purposes. The courses are $250 for members. Membership is $10 or $15 dollars. These courses have an EDU prefix, but these are not normal EDU classes in that they focus on subject area material.

I wonder how many of these classes will be upper level? That would be the only benefit of paying $250 for the courses, as there are many cheaper routes to getting Science credits. Since they are EDU, would that also mean they wouldn't transfer to a science degree?

Yes, unless it's a degree for teaching science.
