KayV Wrote:For Operations Management, Saylor Business Statistics is OPM-351. And I agree about the Political Science, I thought it sounded on a par with Saylor's Intro to Western Political Thought, which transcribes as POS-299.
This whole time I was thinking it was Operations Management, but it's OPM-351 Business Statistics. Operations Management is OPM-301. I still don't think it's worthy of UL business credits, but hey! Easy credits!
Edit: I should note that the equivalencies of the Saylor courses vary by school.

Voted for WWII History as well. Even before I knew of this forum I thought there were more than enough business courses to test out of, so I'd hate to add more to that list (especially with Managerial Communications now available as a TECEP).

In addition to the three options mentioned by KayV, the Uexcel for Workplace Communication can be used to fulfill the requirement.

Voted for WW2. I'll miss the two they removed, but luckily I'd taken (and passed) them awhile ago.

I don't need it personally, but I voted for WWII. There are so many options to take Business courses, I don't think another duplicate is needed in that area.

Have they done polls like this before? How long, typically, is the turn-around on generating a new DSST exam? (I'm sure it's quite a while; just living on a pipe-dream that I'll be able to take the potentially new UL HST test before needing to go somewhere like Ohio or Penn Foster.)

Voted for WW II! Even though I'm done with my degree, I'd like to take that

I wrote in Project Management. To my very limited knowledge the only online self paced option is Sophia.org and its +$300. It would be nice to have a widely accepted standardized test for less than half the cost.

I voted for that too
It's always great to have upper level liberal arts courses, and I think access to free/inexpensive study material would be SUPER EASY to find. That's a winner!

I voted for Managerial Accounting on DSST, though the chances of this course to be offered via DSST is very low simply because it is a very specific subject and has a prerequisite. CLEP used to offer both Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting as one exam but now they only offer Financial Accounting which I've already done. EC does offer Managerial Accounting but you have to study on your own and their study guide was of very little help to me and instantcert does not offer Managerial Accounting unfortunately. So I am doing Financial Accounting again on Instantcert as a refresher course. Then I'll take Managerial Accounting with Saylor.org. But I had hoped Instantcert would offer Managerial Accounting at some point. But they don't and I don't think they plan to either. Oh well...
