This is a bit outside the CLEP/DSST realm, but I passed my PMI PMP certification today. It's a monster test, and supposedly quite difficult.
So now I am officially recognized as a practicing Project Management Professional + I get 3 upper level credits towards my BGB at Excelsior + I can get credit for 3 courses if I apply to Aspen's MBA in PM.
SWEET!
Info about the test:
200 questions - 4 hours to complete - and it's certainly a level above DSST/CLEP in difficulty
You must be able to demonstrate actual PM experience to be eligible to sit for the exams, the requirements are quite stringent
61% is the pass threshold, but it is only pass/fail - I scored a 74% and finished in 2 hours, but it still gave me a headache... (and I do real life PM!)
If anyone is interested in pursuing this, I can give alot of feedback
My employer put me through a 4k USD exam cram course last week provided by Cheetah, it definitely works!
