Reviving this thread...
Has anyone completed (or worked on for any amount of time) the WGU C&I Master's and can tell me the approximate number and length of assignments and/or exams that are typically included in one course? I would love to get a general idea of the workload before committing to the program. I don't have access to the WGU C&I Facebook group due to my computer's firewall (very long story...) so I'm hoping someone on this forum can help.

Can you? There's no way any of us would know. I'm starting a degree at WGU on Monday. My goal is to be done in 6 months so 1 term. Will it happen? Don't know as don't know what coursework I'll need to complete or what the assignments are. I also don't know if anything will happen in life or the world during the next 6 months. I have a plan which I know will change over time. Do you have 40+ hours a week to work on courses? With no distractions? Do you have previous knowledge of the subjects? An interest in the subjects? How are you at writing papers? Are you able to work on your own setting your own deadlines with no one giving you deadlines or due dates? Not everyone can work in this manner.
Thank you for your advice, this is exactly how I completed my BA. I was hoping to hear from someone who was able to accomplish accelerated program completion for some tips.
I'm in a different WGU Master's but I accelerated mine by adding all Quizlet decks I could find on each course subject, from any school, to Anki and studying them as flashcards before the degree started. My degree has 51 CUs, broken up into 26 classes, and for all normal (non-internship) classes I could manage to pass 1 CU a day. This Quizlet to Anki technique would have easily let me finish in less than 6 months if I hadn't had a required internship. Due to the scheduling constraints of the internship, I ended up finishing in 3 terms (including a long term break waiting for the old school year to end and new school year to start so I could begin the second stage of the internship), but my WGU degree is normally 4 terms.
My other big tip to you is to use Google Docs. Specifically, copy-paste your cover pages, and use the Google Docs citation tool to do super quick inline citations and works cited.
