WGU Learning & Technology M. Ed
#1
Has anyone done this program? How many terms did it take? Should you have an IT background? I looked over the Program Guide and it seems to focus on applications of technology in education, which is exactly what I would like to study.

It does not mention this in any of the descriptions for the degree- if someone could answer this question please let me know.

This program’s page said it is for those interested in corporate training or media specialist fields as well as for licensed teachers. It is not one of the programs leading to licensure or endorsement.

I spoke to a WGU enrollment counselor on the phone today and she told me you do not need to be a licensed teacher to complete that program.

Thanks. I do not personally need/want a teacher’s license or certification at this time and confirmed this program does not require one.

I realize this a really old thread, any updates with someone taking the WGU Learning & Technology M.Ed? I am wondering about the experience, time to complete, etc.
