You should take the BACS if you:
  • Do not identify as an engineer

The level of absurdity in that statement is unreal.

I actually believe there is some truth to that when you compare a BACS to a BS in Computer Engineering.

The BACS is a more flexible degree IMO.

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of deciding and picking which bachelors I would like to do.

I came across some posts about a TESU BA CS and BS CIS Double Degree plan but was wondering if this is up to date and still achievable?

Lastly, is it possible to do a double degree plan with FASFA?

Merging your thread as you've not fully decided on your degree yet, you should create a spreadsheet with what you have and what is required by following the plans on the WIKI. It's the most updated plans, even if there are minor changes, the plan still works. You can do a double degree with Fin Aid and tuition assistance, it's just to take the classes in an orderly fashion to get the job done.

Thanks, do you recommend applying to TESU first and sending them my community college credits, THEN doing ace credits from websites?

Can I do a handful of ACE classes and submit them every once in a while to knock out my class requirement list little by little?

Secondly, if I do decide on a double degree path - would I tell them after or before I've applied to their CS program?

Basically, your homework is to create a spreadsheet with what you currently bring to the table and what is remaining for both degrees by following the WIKI. I would take some time reviewing posts, threads, WIKI, etc to get an idea of how things work and update us regularly on your status...

You can then complete the requirements provider by provider, for example, finish all the Sophia.org classes and then apply and transfer the credits to TESU. Work on the credits from Study.com while waiting for initial evaluation, once done with Study.com, send them in for your second evaluation.

You'll know what is remaining and then can complete those last, especially, the 15 credits for residency or if you decide the Edison Accelerate Fee route instead. You email academic advising to add the program once you get your first evaluation, it's best not to have them be confused on what you're trying to do.

Thanks, do you happen to like MajorMash's spreadsheet for the BA in CS? I think it looks solid IMO.

Hi, I applied to TESU and got accepted, is it fine if I accept my admission? That doesn't count as enrolling in classes right? There's still ACE credits I want to do outside of TESU.

TESU doesn't have any restrictive rules about enrollment and transfer credits. You can go ahead and accept the admission and send in credits freely.
