Hey Team!
I'm finally on the downhill of the mountain that has been getting my bachoelors degree thanks to you all. Next up, MBA. I think. I'm mid-career in IT and my BS will be in technology so I don't have a business background and don't I foresee needing AACSB or ACBSP accredidation in my field. Regional and IACBE should be sufficient. I just need a business edge to get into upper management in the next few years.
So I'm looking into Wayne State College. It's only $250 a credit and they have a 30 credit MBA plus I like that the name is brick and mortar sounding. At $7500, it's looking like the cheapest option for me and only having to 10 classes is a nice bonus.
Does anyone have any info on this school or program? I'm also looking at American Public University since the shorter 8 week terms might work best for learning style. Not interested in Amberton because of the all the pre-reqs. Any info on these or other alternatives would be great. Particularly, info about the actual classes. Are they intense, paper driven, homework driven, exam driven, etc.
I won't be taking anything for months. So if you come across this post in the future, still leave your input please.
