What a TESU transcript looks like
#1
Just posting this so people can see, especially those who want to know if they can "launder" their credits through TESU so other schools won't know that it was an ACE course or DSST or something like that.  Nope, nada, not going to happen.  TESU makes it very clear where each and every credit comes from, including their own (TECEP vs. online course).

There's no difference between how online courses and TECEPs are listed. TECEPs just don't have a GPA. They're all listed as institutional credits with the same course codes.

Yes I know.  That's what I was talking about - you can see that some came in with a grade, and some with just CR and no GPA, which is important for some.

I just wanted people to SEE what TESU sends out, since that is a question that is asked a lot.

Hi dfrecore,

Thank you for posting this. It is very interesting and helpful to see.  I just applied for September graduation as I am half way through my last class (BUS421 - Capstone).

Do you know when this transcript was available in relation to the actual graduation date?

The reason I ask is because I need my degree for one of my professional designations. I was told by academic advising that the audits would be complete in late July. This makes sense as the capstone ends on July 22.  I am hoping that it is as soon as the audit is done.

Your guidance is appreciated.

Gloddy

First of all, congratulations!!!!
Thanks for posting this. I wonder what a TECEP would show if you failed it.
I think it's interesting that they give + and I'm assuming - also after letter grades and that it is reflected in the GPA. I've never seen this. Do they do this for all the courses or just the capstone? Is this a new or common thing at Universities?

that's very helpful!
To mudball's question, they've given out +/- grades for TECEPs and COURSES when I attended (I have both on my transcript too), so they've been doing it at least since 2007.

Every college I've gone to (5, both public & private, 2-yr CC and 4-yr) gave +/-.

I did fail a TECEP, all it shows is W (looks like "withdraw" I think?).  Anyway, some I just didn't take, but a couple I failed.  You can't tell which is which, I'm glad to say (probably because they're CR/NC).

As for when the transcript was sent, I just graduated on June 8, and got the transcript with my diploma yesterday (June 16th).

My failed TECEP is not on my transcript. I've attended at least two schools that don't give +/-, and I prefer it that way

I am on pins and needles waiting for my package. I graduated on the 8th as well. I plan on sitting in the window tomororw waiting for the mailman, hoping it's the big day!
