What degree/college would be best if I have 98 credits & don't care about the major?

Thank you!

Thank you, that is pretty affordable!

There are a bunch of threads on here about the best way to get credits and transfer into UMPI - you'll want Bio w/Lab and maybe American Govt at Study.com, and a few additional courses at Sophia including Ethics.  But get a degree plan and figure it out before spending any more money.  Possibly even apply to UMPI, get an eval of all of your credits, then defer your enrollment and come back here with the info and we'll tell you what to finish up before starting at UMPI.

That is a good idea, I will check into that!   I have never heard of UMPI before, but after reading through the forum, they seem to be a great option!

Are the AICPCU credits on a Credly transcript? If they're not on a Credly transcript then they are probably gone.

Industrial/Organizational Psych from SDC is considered LL at TESU but should be UL elsewhere.

If you went with COSC, you could NOT bring in your ALEKS or AICPCU credits. Your best options are UMPI, TESU, or Excelsior. But it depends on what degree you actually want. A BALS degree is always "the fastest" but it's not necessarily the best option. Would a generic degree actually be good for your career or would a more specific degree work better? Because you don't actually have that many UL credits, your options are pretty open.

COSC: Requires 30 UL credits. Does NOT accept ACE credits from anyone outside of a very small list of providers. SDC is on the list but several other popular options are not. Must take 6 credits (capstone/cornerstone) with them.

TESU: 15-18 UL credits. Recent catalog update makes it easier for most people to get a degree due to a reorganization of how credits work. Must take 6 credits (capstone/cornerstone) with them.

EC: Requires 30 UL credits. Only a couple of their degrees can be fully obtained with alternate credits, but if you're willing to pay for and take a couple extra classes with them then that could open up possibilities for you. Must take at least 7 credits with them (capstone, cornerstone, information literacy). Taking 13 credits is only a couple hundred dollars more than 7 due to partnership agreements.

WGU: You may transfer in up to 90 credits in theory but, in practice, they have few gen eds and there aren't easy equivalents for many classes. 60-80 credits seems to be the maximum that the average person could reasonably transfer to WGU. Competency-based so the degree costs less if you can finish more quickly.

UMPI: May transfer in "unlimited" credits but you MUST take 30 credits with them. Must take the majority of UL credits from UMPI. Competency-based so the degree costs less if you can finish more quickly.
