The free course on Culinary Skills is back on Onlinedegree.com!
Onlinedegree has free courses. Then if you want college credit, you pay $8 for the final proctored exam. The Culinary course might not transfer to any degree plan or at best be a free elective.
The downside to Onlinedegree courses in general:
1. It's NCCRS credit.
2. Quizzes can be challenging though overall, the grading system is easy if you can avg. 80% on quizzes.
3. Onlinedegree courses take a long time. Usually, the first video matters, rest are B.S. as they usually link to YouTube videos and that content isn't what is asked on the quizzes.
I have completed three courses on OnlineDegree. Psychology (Talked about learning & memory a lot which I liked), Microeconomics (one of shortest courses on OD, 10hrs), Cybersecurity (not useful for credit, so so course). I did some of the Intro to Programming (Python Based) though I gave up on it because I needed to learn Java first.
The positive is that Onlinedegree has the best videos of any alternative credit provider that I've seen. It's not just some guy/gal speaking on green screen, a PowerPoint video, or weird cartoon characters moving across a static image (A.k.a Study.com).
This Culinary Skills course could be a fun and exciting class for some people.
