What is the best option for getting a Bachelors degree with minimum additional effort
#11
It boils down to your academic evaluation and what it comes in as for the schools you've applied for (EC, TESU and whatever else if you applied there too). From the looks of things, you're trying to "salvage" some credits, EC might be your ticket... Having said that, I would look for the one to get you there cheaper, easier, faster instead of thinking "max transfer". You don't have to worry about RA credits for foreign evaluations, you just need to finish the remaining ones for residency - 7 at EC, 16 at TESU if you don't want to pay the residency waiver fee.

Well OP has 6 US credits currently and then capstone and SOS 110 is another 6 so that leaves 18 credits (or 6 courses from a US school to go) not terrible I guess. But yeah that appears to be new.

COSC has a similar policy, I don't have the link handy. Perhaps this was part of the alternative credit reduction thing?

EDIT: Nope, it was in the 2016-2017 Catalog as well, top of page 192.

TESU doesn't accept UoP credits, so I don't think it would count towards this.

Oh snap! Ouch indeed, that is newly added, I don't recall it that way until Flelm updated us with a link... They just closed the loophole for getting international credits to take the place of the 30 RA needed! TESU just dropped another bomb for international students, it'll be the same for all or new students if they need the 30 RA requirement, so I guess they did this to streamline everything to require 30 RA...

University of the People is NA not RA so it doesn't count. I don't think TESU accepts NA credit anyway.

I looked through back catalogs, and that was in the 2016-2017 catalog as well. So either

1) It was never enforced.
2) Alt-credits count towards the 30 US College credits.
or 3) It's somehow never come up before? (unlikely)

Fingers crossed that it's #2. I just reread it and it doesn't actually say that the credits must come from RA sources. Just "College Credits". So perhaps Sophia, SDC, etc. do count.
