When my arms were getting a bit weary of typing in all the answers and my brain was getting tired too, I tried a new way of pushing through the study guide. Hopefully this isn't common knowledge, but since I stumbled upon a way to make it all go a bit faster for
me, I thought I would share.
When the 'card' comes up with the question (you can do this on the first go around or wait 'til the last time through), just
say the answer in your head (or out loud if you don't mind anyone hearing), click enter, and you can cruise through them so much faster! Of course, your answers 'right' will read zero and you won't know which ones you got wrong, but you can just review again to cover any missed. It makes it all go by quicker (which keeps your mind active), you get more accomplished in one sitting, AND it saves on your fingers.
Hope this helps someone.

That's how I do my final run-through!
And if your clicking finger is really weary, skip the mouse altogether. Hitting the return key is the same as clicking the Continue button.

I just did that for the first time yesterday! Just when I thought I wouldn't have the patience to go thru those Marketing cards again, I started doing that and felt like it helped. I have started and stopped so many times with this exam that I have to keep starting at the beginning again so I have barely been through the first 1 1/2 sets. This one just bores me to death.

Oh, yes, I do that....skip the mouse! Take any and all steps out of the way.
Marketing....just the thought of it makes me yawn. I don't think I could ever get a business type degree. I'm more artsy, I guess. Maybe more coffee would help you.

Great Idea! I hate it when I spell something wrong (Yes I do that sometimes) :o And it says incorrect because I put an extra "e" in the text field. I always use the return key when I can because it saves my lazy arm the work of clicking!

Hello All,
Just got started and was having a hell of a time with the mouse and maintaining focus. After reading this thread I am now flying through the flash cards without losing focus and becoming bored. Thanks for the tip(s) anymore please list them.

I have never really typed the answer in because I shortly found out I ALWAYS typed in a word that meant the same thing but it wasn't the word the question wanted.

I don't even bother to try type anything in the first time, even if I know some of the answers, then I hit return and type in the correct answers, and cookies will help me out most of the time when my memory or spelling fails.

I have used this method for all of my studying with IC. It does save time, especially if you want to review right before the test itself. And, oh yes, the return key does work wonders.
