INTRO TO WORLD RELIGIONS
I just finished the reading, quizzes and unit tests for Intro to World Religions. This course was very interesting to me, especially the older stuff. I grew up in a Christian home so I knew basically all of the Judaism and Christianity stuff already. I'm not meaning to start anything political considering the happenings of the world, but it was really interesting to learn more about Islam and why certain things that are happening today are taking place.

I was surprised to find that I preferred reading the transcripts to the videos. Part of that could be that I usually do my school stuff at night when the wife and kids are sleeping but I definitely used many videos while going through the ALEKS courses. I will probably take the exam tomorrow at some point after going through all the quizzes and tests again tonight and tomorrow. I read on someone else's review that the exams are usually pretty similar to the tests so I am hoping that is the case. There are a lot of dates and (weird/funny/hard to pronounce) names to remember in this course which I expected considering there are so many different religions and time periods represented.

I'm noticing that the DSST World Religions and the DSST Art of the Western World have some terminology overlap. Probably effective to study for those together - if that benefits anyone.
