Looking for affordable RA Masters in Psychology

@Yana - What made you decide on TESU for your first degree? TESU didn't have rave reviews either back then, nor does it now... It's a public/state university, it "does" the job for getting that first bachelors. When I found out about the Big 3 two dozen years ago, I wouldn't have gone for any as you can transfer in 100% of the degree into their programs, meaning, not taking any courses!

I would say the same about California Southern, they were DEAC and now Regionally Accredited, they have a couple of doctorates, mainly undergraduate degrees, with a few Masters as well. Reviews are just that, it's like an external ranking, I only view them as additional info, it doesn't determine what I choose from. I look for cost, ease, speed, and also look at the extra ROI/Value it brings...

Even if you're not going for licensure and you're an international student from another country, it won't really matter, it's just advice to check for requirements just in case X university requires something for entrance requirements. Universities all have different requirements, most of them are "general" some have additional ones... If I guess correctly, you just want the "Dr"...

I'm not sure if you found something already or not...

I did a masters in marriage and family therapy at Northcentral University after I did the BA in Psych at TESU.   I found NCU to be fantastic.

I enrolled at Calif Southern PsyD after my MAMFT, took a look at the first two classes (content etc) and promptly withdrew.  Most of the info had been covered in my undergrad and the quality of the program seemed lower than my MA.
I'm about to do a MS in Psych at NCU.   I really do love the school.

it might be worth looking into their MA in Psych offerings.   ---and if you end up interested, let me know, I can get you a 25% tuition discount with a referral.

William James College may not be a familiar name for many because they recently changed their name from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.  They have a nice set of online degree programs.  I haven't checked the prices but I assume they're not cheap.
