YourPace Management Courses- Exam or Paper?
#1
Hello. I found the answer for some of the classes in the BABA Management program on this forum already but not the remaining classes listed below. Does anyone know if these classes have an exam or a paper for the final, please?

BUS  244 Mgmt. Info Systems
BUS 330 Marketing Mgmt. (Is this available on Sophia?)

BUS 335 Organizational Behavior

BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Env. of Bus.

BUS 415 Operations Mgmt.

Thank you!

Only BUS330 is an exam. None of these are available on Sophia. The rest are papers, projects, or PowerPoints.

Great, thank you! Have you taken BUS 244, and would you consider it difficult if so? I have no idea what MIS is about really. I have taken Intro to IT and Microcomputer applications (community college), and BUS 200 already.

I didn't find BUS244 to be difficult. I just looked at my saved files and this was an exam. I didn't learn much in the course, but I already have some IT and some management experience. The Milestones I answered with a paragraph or 2.

Wait, did you transfer up to 90 credits to UMPI already? A few of these can be done through Study.com... If you are going for the double major, or dual concentration, you may want to speak with Jessica or another advisor to see if you can get the most transferred in before completing the next session.

No, I transferred in 65 credits from my AAS and I am taking another 24 credits through Sophia now. Hopefully all in a month, I just finished 2 classes this weekend.  I completed 6 in the Summer 1 session so far. I wasn't planning on taking any at Study. I saw Change Management is offered there but finished that at UMPI already. If I am not mistaken Mgmt info. Systems, Leadership, and Operations Management are the only 3 of my remaining classes offered at SDC. Do you recommend those be taken at Study over UMPI? I figured the 11 more I need at UMPI were manageable there, but could be taken at UMPI.

Personally, I wouldn't pay Study for 2 classes since you're already paying UMPI. None of the classes you have left that are option on Study are really difficult. If you preferred tests over writing, then maybe consider it, but like I said you've already paid UMPI and the price doesn't change based on how many courses you complete.

All of these courses are exams that can be taken through Saylor Academy for $5 each exam attempt. I just took BUS 200 Business Ethics (xfers as BUS 353 to UMPI) through Saylor. I studied maybe 6-7 hours and passed the direct credit exam with an 82%. I'm going to try the exams for BUS 209 Organizational Behavior and BUS 300 Operations Management next. Good Luck.

Keep in mind that you have to complete a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI and some programs require you to complete the majority of your UL credits at UMPI. I don't see Business Ethics in the transfer database at UMPI. Have you already transferred this into UMPI?

Thanks for the insight. I have already confirmed with the UMPI Transfer Officer that Saylor's BUS 200 will transfer as
BUS 353 before I took the exam. I'm a double major with BA Accounting and BABA Management and Leadership, so I have plenty of Upper Division courses to choose from at UMPI.
