Hello all. I am planning on obtaining a BA in History from TESC and I am trying to figure out which option will make the most sense and be the easiest to study for. I was planning on taking the following exams/classes to fulfill the requirements in my area of study (History) and wanted some input from others on this most helpful forum. I was planning on taking...
for non-western history credits- An Intro to the Modern Middle East-DSST
for my History electives...
Civil War and Reconstruction - DSST
The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union - DSST
War and American Society - TESC course - 6 credits - upper level
Middle East HIS310 - TESC course - 3 credits - upper level
World Conflicts since 1900 - ECE exam - 3 credits upper level
I am wondering if I am better off substituting the World Conlicts since 1900 with the VIetnam War DSST exam. I was worried about the names in the Vietnam era, but now I am getting concerned about going with a different format altogether with a ECE exam...any advice of input??
I am concerned that there won't be the same amount of simplified study material out there for ECE exams as opposed to CLEP and DSST exams. I am already finding DSST study materials to be lacking compared to CLEP. I am just confusing myself and want to get a clear idea of where to go next. I already took the Western Civ II CLEP and Western Europe since 1945 DSST and am now studying The Rise and Fall of The Soviet Union DSST so I figured the World Conflicts since 1900 would have a good deal of overlap. Am I correct in thinking that?? As you can see, I am very confused...
