My transcripts have been there for nearly 2 weeks now so it sounds like I have a good month to wait still. Once they do get around to completing my evaluation will I be notified in some way or do I need to keep logging in to the system to check it?

In my case the email showed up about 4 days after I found it posted online. I was as excitedly nervous as you are!

True; often the emails are late

Folks, I've been getting your e-mails regarding your transcripts. That's the only explanation I can give why I've been notified at least THREE times that they've received my transcripts. That's three e-mails for each of the half-dozen transcripts they've received. I think Carl likes me. (I don't know who Carl is, but all of the e-mails are from him.) They were also evaluated very quickly.

After 6 weeks I finally have my evaluation of transcripts from TESC!! I haven't received an email from them yet but I have been checking their website daily so it appears they completed it yesterday (Saturday, I'm impressed). I'm a little disappointed in their evaluation because I have 62 credits and it appears they are giving me credit for only 50, so I have to study what is missing.
I'm going to need help on my degree plan since I am trying for BSBA in Accounting and I need to nail down a good plan, what classes I need to take, by what means can I test out, and if PLA would be a good approach for me.

Well at least you can sleep tonight! Regarding your 12 "lost" credits: You have 30 days to make an unenrolled formal written appeal. The process is quite straightforward and very cordial. Based on my personal experience if you "catch" TESC in error - they actually apologize! To differentiate unaccepted transfer credits from either specific degree requirements or some general course description issues, I suggest you run a "what if" analysis in Web Advisor for the alternate degree of BALS. Then come back to this Forum with the details on the denied credits, and we'll see if we can suggest a possible appeal route. There is no need for disappointment or dismay at this point. TESC welcomes a well constructed appeal! You are on your way now! Good luck!
