cheapest community college in USA?
#11
Well, what about doing 6 credits with one school and another 6 with a second school. And if you have the time, maybe another 3 or 6 with a third school. Wouldn't that be even cheaper?

I think he means to enjoy the discounted rate at each school. I think this is probably possible, seems each school decides what discount they give independent of the overall system. I would think it makes obvious sense if your doing ll classes at one and ul at another. Might want to call and confirm though.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I came across a curious find in my web travels today. Central New Mexico CC has the same type of deal as Clovis for the first 6 credits (48.25 per credit up to 6) but lists the summer 2012 tuition for out of state up to 18 credits at $579 total. Tuition This might be something for someone who needs classes this summer to look into.

Yes, I meant doing 2 classes each at 2 or 3 different CC's. I should have clarified that.

If you are doing a certain amount of credits though 12 or above, I would just go to one school, as it probably works out cheaper in the long run anyways.

Plus some classes are listed at 3 credits and other at 4. So depending on the class needed, you may go over the limit with two classes.

Also, I think most of the NM CC's have a summer discount to 7 credits if I am not mistaken. I do hope they continue this. It only brings them in more many in the long run. I have about 8 classes I would like to take and I estimate I would save about $2000 dollars going through clovis or NMJC then going through SUNY. And I get discounts as well.

Still waiting on my evaluation for Professional Credit as well as my military experience. we shall see if I need some of those 8 classes
