Ec council is offering new program Cybersecurity Essential. It is good cybersecurity foundation. I checked it does not offer ace credit, but it is new program. Maybe in the future, you could get some ace credit.

Cool, this would be a good addition to the TEEX Cybersecurity courses and the Coursera/Google/IBM professional certificates. I would wonder if these overlap in content and material, there may be some areas or sections not overlapping, so there would be some learning to fill in those gaps hopefully...

If anyone is interested in free, (ISC)2 is still offering the Certified in Cybersecurity voucher code. I just passed the exam and paid $50 to become a member of (ISC)2, which is required for the certification.

Studying or to complete the test? I only studied for a few hours, and I can't remember how long it took me to complete the test. I moved through the questions pretty fast. A couple of days after passing the test, I was able to pay for membership and receive the certification.
