instantcert flash cards vs actual test
#1
The flash cards are all fill in the blank. My question is, are the flashcards questions the exact questions that will be seen on the test? Also, is the blank part of the question the required answer for the test or is it any part of the question. This is my first time taking a DSST exam so I want to make sure I'm focusing in on the important parts of the question. TIA Big Grin

The flash cards are a study tool to expose you to common themes and types of topics you will be tested on. Understand each question, but also the answer. Example- My 4 year old likes to tell me 2+2=4...he says this to anyone who will listen, but he doesn't know how to add, so knowing 2+2 is irrelevant when assessing his actual math skills. In other words, don't memorize the questions/answers from IC.

... although on today's DSST HRM test, one of the questions was almost word-for-word identical to an IC flashcard in the HRM set! Freaked me out. Big Grin

The version 2 sets change the blanks from attempt to attempt. I loved this feature! Instead of just memorizing one term or word, you really had to remember the entire statement. That, plus the grouping of related statements on a single card, really helped me to retain the information and its context.
