It should be noted that the A&I Clep has had some changes and there is a consistent rumble that it's moved away from easy. The connection I have with it is that my oldest took the CLEP prior to the changes and said it was crazy easy. My younger daughter who loves the subject passed but stressed that it was not as described, 'This Was Not Easy Papa'!!!. It became a fun topic in our house because my younger daughter tends to outperform in school but this time the older daughter owned the crown!!!

I think it depends on age and experience with Literature. It reminds me of the SAT verbal reading passages. I wrote more in my Eng thread.

I took the exam 2 days ago 

Can totally see that. The exam has historically been promoted as 'if you could read that you can pass this one'. There have been multiple posts that this has changed over the last year. However, I can see that someone older would see each exam as equal due to additional time with literature. My daughters where 16 & 17 when taking the exam.
