I'm planning on taking the social psychology excelsior exam soon and I would really like feedback from anyone who took it or knows anything about it. Anything and everything is helpful.
Thanks so much!

I have not taken Social Psych ECE, so I can't speak for that specific exam. However, I have taken 3 other Psych ECE's and here is what I would recommend.... Download the free Exam Content Guide for that exam on the EC website. The Content Guide gives you an exact outline of what they expect you to study for the test. They also give you the exact textbook that they want you to read or at least be familiar with. Also, you can also purchase 2 practice exams for whatever exam you are taking-- for an additional $65 from the EC website. Many people do not purchase the practice exams and they do completely fine on the tests. BUT if you know that you benefit from taking practice exams (like I do) and you get test anxiety (like I do) then you might want to consider the practice exams. I find them extremely helpful even though they are pricey. They are a great study tool for me--they help you zero in on what to expect on the exam. Also, if you are a member of IC, the flashcards and 'Specific Exam Feedback' are also worth every penny of the $20 monthly membership fee. In the Exam Feedback there are many posts from forum members that actually took the test that you are wondering about-- and what they recommend. Great resource!!
